Slack trained quarterbacks shine in kick off classics

Friday night provided nothing less than dominating offensive fire power across the country for numerous Darin Slack Quarterback Academy trainied QB’s. Senior Quarterback Michael Strauss from Gulliver Prep lead the pac, tossing six touchdowns in a down to the wire game against Parkway Academy in Miami. Strauss pulled out the win with a final score of 39-38 passing for a total of 295 yards. Under duress all night, the Tulane commit managed to lead his team to victory with out much protection from a young offensive line. Michael has been a member of the quarterback academy for 5 years this fall.

A little further north in Tampa Florida, Senior CJ Bennett had the opportunity to get a shot at two teams. Alonso high school defeated both Sickles and Freedom in two separate halves in front of a home crowd. The Wyoming Commit was no let down, combining for a total of 5 touchdowns, 416 yards and no pics. This is CJ’s 5 year working under the tutelage of Darin Slack and his certified staff.

Across on the other coast Micheal Slack had one of the most interesting and impressive nights statistically we’ve seen in a while. 3-5, 180 yards and 2 touchdowns, with a 20-0 win over Holy  Trinity. Michael is a senior at Pine Castle Christian and Darin Slack’s second oldest son.

Cross country, Junior Sawyer Kollmorgan tosses 3 TD’s in the Jenk’s Preview against Enid in a 28-0 win. Jenks high school has come in this season ranked as high as 10 nationally in some football polls. Kollmorgan rose from 3rd on the depth chart to lead the Trojans to the state Championship game in Oklahoma. Sawyer has the privilege of having Coach Dub Maddox, a lead coach for the Darin Slack Quarterback Academy as his Quarterback coach and passing coordinator.

Batesville Indiana quarterback Connor Kelley threw for 193 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs over the visiting Milan Indians 28-19 Friday night. Connor has elevated his game to whole new level after extensive off season working directly with the academy.

Elyria Catholic Quarterback Danny Reaser threw for 268 yards on 12 of 19 and three touchdowns as the Panthers defeated rival Collinwood. Despite missing multiple starters on offensive, Reaser managed to have a very efficient night. The two year member of DSQA was honorable mention all state as a Sophomore in Ohio.

Finally on saturday in the Herbstreit Classic, St Thomas Aquinas defended it No.1 National Ranking from 2008 on National television. Junior quarterback Jake Rudock has his coming out party as the going 7-10, 141 yards and two touchdowns in the air, running for one other in a astounding 52-7 blow out on ESPNU. Jake has worked very hard over the past 3 years to get the opportunity to start on one of the most decelerated teams in high school football.
